Blue Ridge Recognizes Ashe District Employees

West Jefferson, North Carolina (April 28, 2008) — Employees from Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and Blue Ridge Energies, LLC, were recognized for their service during the company’s annual employee awards dinner at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center in Boone.
Recognized from the Ashe office of Blue Ridge Electric and Blue Ridge Energies were: 40 years: Bobby Colvard, Sales/Delivery; 30 years: Jack Goodman, Operations Manager; and Greg Miller; Crew Leader; 25 years: Ruby Calhoun, Senior Member Services Representative; 20 years: Larry Carson, Line Technician A; David Wright, Line Technician A; and Jimmy McNeill, Crew Leader; 10 years: Alan Bare, Operations Coordinator; and Allen Huffman Jr., Construction Layout Technician.
