West Jefferson, North Carolina (October 21, 2004) – Employees from Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and Blue Ridge Energies, LLC, were honored for their service during the company’s annual employee awards dinner and celebration recently held at Broyhill Inn and Conference Center in Boone.
Recognized from the Ashe office of Blue Ridge Electric were: Polly Marsh, customer service representative, for 25 years of service; Ronnie Barker, line technician A, for 15 years of service; and William “Talmedge” Lawrence, construction/layout technician, for 15 years of service. Recognized from the Ashe office of Blue Ridge Energies was Kevin Phipps, lead service technician, for five years of service.
Blue Ridge Electric is a not-for-profit, member owned electric cooperative serving some 67,000 member-owners in northwest North Carolina.
