Sparta, North Carolina (October 21, 2004) – Employees from Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and Blue Ridge Energies, LLC, were honored for their service during the company’s annual employee awards dinner and celebration recently held at Broyhill Inn and Conference Center in Boone.
Recognized from Sparta were: Joe Ward, operations and district manager, for 20 years of service; and Joel Souther, crew leader, for 20 years of service.
Blue Ridge Electric is a not-for-profit, member owned electric cooperative serving some 67,000 member-owners in northwest North Carolina.
