West Jefferson, North Carolina (May 12, 2007) — Employees from Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and Blue Ridge Energies, LLC, were recognized for their service during the company’s annual employee awards dinner at Helen Powers Grand Hall at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center in Boone.
Recognized from the Ashe office of Blue Ridge Electric were: 35 years: Rex Barker, retired warehouse specialist; Penny Harless, member services representative; 25 years: Gary Critcher, vehicle mechanic; 20 years: Tracy Davis, crew leader; Ken Hartzog, field service technician; Kay Sexton, member services representative; Steve Taylor, field service technician; 15 years: Terry Barnes, crew leader; Gail Harrell, member services representative; Tom Mash, crew leader; Dale Walton, warehouse specialist; and 10 years: Dale Mullis, sales and delivery.
