Sparta, North Carolina (May 12, 2007) — Employees from Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and Blue Ridge Energies, LLC, were honored for their service during the company’s annual employee awards dinner recently held at Helen Powers Grand Hall at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center in Boone.
Recognized from Sparta were: 35 years: Roger Spears, retired construction layout technician; 25 years: Mary Marmie, member services representative; Donnie Spencer, crew leader; 20 years: Lonnie Dalton, warehouse specialist; David Fender, field service technician; Russell Sheets, key accounts manager; and Gay Wyatt, member services representative.
