Newly Elected Officers Announced for Blue Ridge Electric Board

Lenoir, North Carolina (June 26, 2003) – The Board of Directors of Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation elected officers during their regularly scheduled meeting this month.
John Woodruff, of Alleghany District, was re-elected as president. He has served on the board since 1968. Kenneth Greene, of Ashe District and a board member since 1988, was re-elected as vice president. Jeff Joines, of Caldwell District, was re-elected secretary-treasurer. He has served on the board since 1998. Joy Coffey, of Watauga District and a board member since 1996, was re-elected as assistant secretary-treasurer.
A Touchstone Energy cooperative, Blue Ridge Electric is a not-for-profit, member-owned electric cooperative serving some 65,000 consumer accounts in Caldwell, Watauga, Ashe, Alleghany, Alexander and Wilkes counties.
