West Jefferson, North Carolina (April 9, 2003) — Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and TSE Services are hosting a complimentary seminar on Electric Motors on Thursday April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Electric District Office in West Jefferson. Reservations are required.
The workshop will provide information on energy efficient motors, motor maintenance, and motor replacement policy. The seminar is directed at Blue Ridge Electric’s commercial and industrial members where motors are an important component of their operations and electricity consumption. Bob Zickefoose of Advanced Energy will conduct this informative session and it will be an excellent opportunity to receive the latest updates on electric motor issues and get specific questions on motors addressed.
Located in Raleigh, Advanced Energy is a not-for-profit national resource focusing on motors and drives testing, industrial process technologies, and applied science building to help industrial customers improve their return on investment. TSE Services is a subsidiary of North Carolina Electric Membership Cooperatives focusing on services of assistance to electric cooperatives.
Blue Ridge Electric hosted this seminar a few years ago and due to its popularity and requests from several industrial members, the workshop is being offered again.
Call Blue Ridge Electric at 1-800-451-5474 to reach Brian Crutchfield, director of economic development, extension 3279, or Russell Sheets, key accounts manager, extension 4415, as soon as possible to confirm reservations.
