West Jefferson, North Carolina (January 14, 2001) - Telephone service problems may be affecting Ashe County customers trying to call Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation and its fuels and gas subsidiary, Blue Ridge Energies.
Blue Ridge Electric has contacted telephone service provider, Sprint, to correct the problems.
If customers experience difficulty reaching Blue Ridge Electric or Blue Ridge Energies, they can call 1-800-451-5474 to reach Blue Ridge customer service.
