Lenoir, North Carolina (December 20, 2000) – Amanda Huffman was recently hired as employee services specialist in the employee development department at Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation.

Huffman holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Lenoir-Rhyne College and is currently working on her MBA from Gardner-Webb University. Prior to joining Blue Ridge Electric, she worked as a plant personnel manager at Drexel Heritage Furnishings in Hildebran and as a human resources administrator for Sonoco Products Company in Granite Falls.

Huffman, an Abingdon, Virginia native, currently lives in Granite Falls with her husband Alan and their two-year-old son.

Blue Ridge Electric is a not-for-profit electric cooperative serving over 60,000 members in northwest North Carolina. Its subsidiary, Blue Ridge Energies, is a propane, heating fuels, and commercial gasoline provider with offices in Lenoir, Morganton, Boone, and West Jefferson.
