What is the selection process?
Applications must be submitted to the Foundation Manager at Blue Ridge Electric. They will be reviewed by members of the Foundation Advisory Committee which is made up of representatives from all Blue Ridge districts. The Foundation Advisory Committee (right) will make specific recommendations to the Foundation Board of Directors which will make the final allocation awards.
How does an organization apply for a grant?
Applications should be submitted to the Patty N. Wheeler, foundation manager at Blue Ridge Electric, 2491 U.S. Hwy. 421 S., Boone, NC 28607. If you have questions as you work to complete the application, call the Foundation Manager at 828-264-8894 ext. 4207.
*Applications are not accepted from individual members. Members needing help with their energy bills should contact their local department of social services to determine eligibility requirements.
