Who Do I Call If I Have Questions?

Call the phone numbers listed in the upper right corner of your paper bill or stop by any of our four locations.

Did Blue Ridge Electric Receive My Last Payment?

In the summary bill grid, refer to the "Payments (-) Thank You!" box. This will include any payments received by Blue Ridge Electric.

Comparison Chart

On the left side of your bill, you will see a usage comparison chart. This provides you with a comparison of usage this month compared to the same month last year.

How Do I Make My Payment?

There are several ways to pay your bill.

If you pay via mail, drop box or office visit be sure to return the bottom portion of the bill with your payment. Please allow appropriate mailing time for your payment(s) to reach Blue Ridge Electric and be applied to your account(s).

Barcode

The barcode and the series of numbers can be found at the bottom of your paper bill and is used to improve efficiency and posting accuracy. Please bring your bill with you when you visit our offices to make payment.

What Do I Owe and When Is It Due?

This information can be found above the summary bill grid on your paper bill. The total amount is due upon receipt of the bill. If this amount is not paid by the "Current Charges Due" date indicated, a penalty will be added to the total amount. The total amount owed is the "Total Amount Due" on the payment coupon.

What Have I Been Billed?

A detailed list of services billed, along with appropriate taxes is provided under the "Description" area below your "Account Summary." The previous and present meter readings, along with the kwh usage are also shown for your information.

Is My Account Past Due?

If your account is past due, a statement will appear above your service location indicating that payment must be received in our office by the date shown to keep your electric service connected. Details relating to any past due message appears on the back of your bill.

Cooperative Information

Messages pertaining to you and your cooperative will be found below the "Total Amount Due" box.

Answers to frequently asked questions can be found on the back of your paper bill, including a change of address form and your statement id used to register online.
